TrailManor Announces Upright Trailer!
TrailManor has a 24 foot upright trailer named the Elkmont.  There are 2 floorplans available so far.  Click on the
ELKMONT for a look.

If you have a Prodigy Brake controller and you are experiencing an open ground "o.g." warning, check the Tekonsha website for a technical bulletin for a fix.  Click here for a link.
If you have a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban/Silverado, check the contact at the rear bumper for 12V.  Use a multi-meter and touch the + lead to the contact at the 1 o'clock position, and the - lead to the contact at the 7 o'clock position.  If you do NOT have a reading of 12V, open the hood, and on the driver side, at the wheelwell, there is a big black box, remove the cover and put a fuse in the Stud #1 position.  There might be a plastic plug with a B+ stamped in the position that will need to be removed.  The fuse is a J-case 40A fuse and once installed, verify that you have 12V at the rear bumper connector as indicated above.  Click here to see where the fuse is to be placed, the fuse was not installed by the factory for "safety reasons".

This information may apply to other years and models as well, so check your truck as above or consult your owners' manual for location of the fuse.

I found it to be interesting, not real packed with how-to though....read the ARTICLE. Also see the link below (the trailer).
Many times a discussion will come up regarding the pros and cons of running your Suburban Water heater on both electric and gas at the same time.  Some have suggested that it is against the terms of the warranty and will void same if you do this. I did a little digging around and here is the definitive stand from the factory site.

A GREAT MUST HAVE BOOK!
During a recent camping trip, we met a couple that told us about the book "the Next EXIT", and they said that it paid for itself many time over in a very short period of time.

While on our trip to New Mexico in August, I picked up a copy at Camping World and I was absolutely amazed at how accurate and helpful this book was.

I only use a certain brand of gasoline and this book helped us find which exits had that brand as well as all other services and such at the exits.

If you travel a lot and/or just want to know what is available at the NEXT EXIT, then this is a must have book for you too.
Click the book to see the listing..

After seeing the 2007 TrailManor, I have decided to perform some of the mods that I have seen.  So far I have updated the door latch, added the A/C deflector, replaced the black
door gasket with the white one.  I also had a custom cabinet made at Lowes for above the
stove..GREAT MOD!  I will add the pictures to my mods webshots soon.
